Stained Glass Window of Life
by Miriam Rossow on July 31st, 2020
As I colored I thought about all of the decisions that we make in our lives each day. Each of those decisions connects with another decision by us , our family, or another person that we may or may not know. I suppose that is why decisions feel so big and daunting. We know and realize how our decisions can affect the life of someone else, but we can't always see how they connect together. When I make a decision in my life I don't know how that will connect with others.
Sharing Your Faith
by Miriam Rossow on July 28th, 2020
Sharing our faith can be difficult and sometimes scary. We might be afraid of rejection. We might be afraid of saying the wrong the thing. We might not feel like we have the ability to speak eloquently or even if we can speak well, we might feel like we just don't have anything to offer. The beautiful thing is as the body of Christ, as followers of Jesus we each have been given the Holy Spirit. Jesus through the Holy Spirit has called us to Himself and to follow Him. He has given us insights and belief. Jesus and the Holy Spirit work a beautiful miracle in our lives every day. This is worth sharing.

Coronavirus and social unrest have had Pastor Hill and I thinking about how we can better serve our community and better serve our volunteers. The pandemic and shutdown have given us a lot of time to explore other avenues of doing ministry. Obviously, there is the street ministry that many of you are up to date on and the continuing food ministry. We also took some time during the pandemic to explore technological ministry, as so many other churches have, and began putting services, discussions, devotions, and sermons on our Facebook page.
