Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church is hosting a Flu Shot Clinic
Visiting Nurses Association will set up and provide everything needed to conduct a safe Flu Shot Clinic including one of their own nurses. EMU student nurses who are in their last semester at EMU will be giving the shots under the supervision of a Family Nurse Practitioner. The recipient should bring their insurance card and their insurance company will be billed for the shot. VNA will not collect co-pays, they will accept whatever amount the insurance company pays. Insurances accepted are BCBS (except TEA prefix), HAP (except CIGNA), BCN, Priority Health, Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans, and Aetna. They will also accept cash or check. If no insurance, the regular Flu shot is $35 and the higher dose for seniors is $60. Again, there is no fee collected if an insurance card is presented. Facial coverings are required. The church is located at 14175 Farmington Rd., Livonia; Just north of I-96.
