He is Risen. He is Risen Indeed, Alleluia!
by Miriam Rossow on April 11th, 2020
ALLELUIA is a joyful expression meaning Praise the Lord! During Lent we omit the word Alleluia from our worship. Lent is a quiet, reflective season in the church year. Easter is a festive celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection when our Alleluias ring again loud and clear! Alleluia! Happy Easter! This lesson will show us why Easter makes us excited to celebrate! God wants us to pray. He wants us to talk to Him. We do not need to go anywhere special; we do not need anything, not even a phone, to do that. Wherever we are we can just start talking to God. We can do that out loud or in our heads – He hears us both ways. He is always listening to us; He wants to hear what we have to say because He loves and cares for us.
