Leaving with a Stronger Faith
Dear friends of Family of God,
Over the last 3 years I have been utterly blessed to serve in varying capacities at Family of God, most recently as Director of Development. After much prayer and deliberation I have decided to resign from my position as Director of Development.
Working at Family of God has allowed me to grow in so many ways and I am incredibly grateful for all of the opportunities I have had here over the last 3 years.

I have no doubt that I am leaving with a stronger faith and as a better person than before I started.
The relationships I have built and encounters I have had with so many members of our community have forever changed my life.
This decision was not easy to make but ultimately I know that it is the right one. I am not sure yet what God has in store for me next but as long as I am still living in the area I won't be a stranger. To those of you who I have come to know during my time serving here, thank you for blessing me with your presence. And to those of you who I have not met in person but who read our newsletter each month and lift us up in prayer from afar, thank you for your support and prayers over the last 3 years.
It has been humbling to be a small part of what God is doing in southwest Detroit and I know that He will continue to abundantly bless the Family of God in the future.
With love and gratitude,
Amanda Becker
