About Us

Get to know about our congregation

Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church is a place where people can meet Jesus and  engage in life-giving community. Everyone is welcome! We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts, and use them for God's glory.
We are a sacramental church, part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Our mission is to create disciples who share the love of Jesus Christ in these communities and with people everywhere. Our vision is to create a community of  believers who grow, share, connect, belong, and serve together and are led to share Jesus  with the surrounding communities.
We are a confessional church. Our service is casual but historically-rooted. Join us for our Sunday services and find a way to be connected to our family!
Hymns are led by our organist, choirs, soloists, and sometimes instrumentalists. Our music department also provides special music during the service.

Kids' First Visit

We encourage and welcome children to participate in worship with you.  If you need to take your child out during the service we have a large lounge area with plenty of room for little ones to move and comfy chairs to sit in while you hear and see the service.
Sunday School, from preschool to 6th grade, is available on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. All of our Sunday School classes are in person.

Communion

Communion Practice

We practice closed communion. Our members and members of other LCMS congregations are welcome to receive the sacrament; non-members or members of other denominations are asked to speak with an elder or pastor before the service about our communion beliefs. Everyone is welcome at the table for a blessing. To find out more about our communion beliefs please visit our Who We Are page.

Communion Schedule

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month, communion is celebrated at the 8:30 a.m. service.
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays, communion is celebrated at the 11:00 a.m. service.
On a 5th Sunday we celebrate communion at both services.
