Silent Light Humble Light

Light is fundamental to our lives. We use it everyday. Light provides us with seasons, time, and allows us to see anytime of the day. It even is critical to our ability to breath. Light is fundamental to our lives. Pastor Eden reminded us that although critical to our lives, light is silent and humble. Even though light is silent it commands attention although not to itself. And even though light commands attention, light does not demand attention. It is humble. The goal of light is not to point to itself. The goal is to illuminate something else or someone else. Jesus is the light of the world and He has given us His light. With Him shining in us out to the world we can illuminate those who yearn to be welcomed in the world. Through us Jesus THE Light of the world is brought to dark places.
