Fruitful or Fruitless

Sunday was the start of our stewardship emphasis. We are focusing on the joy of sharing in the blessings that God has given us as we look at how we will commit to supporting financially, with our time and prayers, the work that the church, specifically Christ Our Savior, is doing. We were reminded that being connected to the Vine, Jesus, is vital to our joy. In Him we are given life and joy. The branch connected to the vine is able to bear fruit. It is through the vine that the branch receives it’s life. It is through the vine that we are able to give and find our joy. How will you step forward in sharing in the blessings of God and sharing in the joy He gives? Commitment forms are in the bulletin this week for you to prayerfully consider and fill out. Please bring them back next week as we make our commitment to the Lord for the coming year.
