Discipleship Resources

Christ Our Savior wants to support you and encourage you in your discipleship walk. We have many wonderful groups and ministries we call Community Groups here at Christ Our Savior that strive to share Jesus love with you and help point you back to Him and His love. We also know that there are many other resources outside of our building that can help you as you follow Jesus. We have chosen some of these to link to on this page. If you have a question or are looking for a resource regarding a certain topic you can always contact the church office and we will do our best to answer your question or help you find a resource that may answer your question. 

Lutheran Church Missouri Synod

The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod is the governing body of the LCMS. It's headquarters are in St. Louis, Mo. They partner with districts, churches, and other recognized organizations to share the Gospel of Jesus with the world. 

Michigan District of the LCMS

The Michigan District is the governing body in Michigan and is one of the Districts in the Missouri Synod. The district is here to support, encourage, and uplift the Pastors and congregations it serves. 

Lutheran Hour Ministries

Lutheran Hour Ministries is a partner ministry with the LCMS. LHM provides messages, devotions, bible studies, and other resources for churches and individuals in their faith walk.

Visual Faith Ministries

The mission of Visual Faith Ministries is to serve and equip believers in the kingdom with visual faith tools that they may bring the  hope of Jesus to the world.

Next Step Community

Next Step Community is sold on helping others delight in taking a next step following Jesus. Through a community of believers they look to support, encourage, and strengthen everyone pointing them to Jesus.

CPH

CPH is a publishing house for churches, schools, and individuals to find helpful resources that are created to share Jesus and the good news of His death and resurrection. 

The Hymnal Project

The Hymnal Project is a project of the Michigan District. They have recorded audio recordings and videos of hymns from LSB for use in the congregation and at home as you worship and grow in faith through music. 

KFUO

 A radio station of the LCMS. Find podcasts, music, church services, and so much more on KFUP radio.

For students and families

There are many choices for education and family activities. Here are some in Michigan, that strive to give great experiences as well as point you to Jesus. 

Concordia University System

The CUS is a group of universities that strive to offer quality higher education while also emphasizing and growing the students faith and relationship to Jesus.  Concordia University, Ann Arbor is in the Michigan District.

Lutheran High Westland

Lutheran High Westland is one of the Lutheran High Schools in the Michigan District. It is located in Westland, Mi. 

Camp Arcadia

Camp Arcadia offers a beautiful location on the west side of the state on the shores of Lake Michigan to escape and refresh. They offer a variety of retreats including women's, men's, student, & family. 

Camp Concordia

Camp Concordia is located in Gowen, Mi. near Grand Rapids. They offer a traditional camp experience with a focus on the whole body, mind & spirit for families, 1st- 10th graders.

Lutherans for Life

God loves all life. Lutherans for Life is an organization of the LCMS that advocates for the rights of everyone including the rights of the unborn. They work with the government to give a voice to some of the most fragile in our society.

Church Extension Fund

Their mission statement says: Church Extension Fund is a ministry of partnering Christians to make resources available for members and churches of the Michigan District in carrying forward the Great Commission.
